Register a deal
Tell us the account and the product before you quote. A confirmed registration holds the account for as long as that vendor's own programme holds it. No second partner is given the same position on the same account while it runs.
Registration is also how the pipeline exists. It is what shows the vendor that you are the one working the account, and that is what protects the renewal a year later.
What to send
Send it to info@icmconnect.com with the end customer's name in the subject line. Eight lines is enough.
- Your company, and the person we should answer
- End customer, legal name
- Country
- Product
- Approximate size
- Expected close
- Whether the customer already knows the product
- Anything we should not do, for example who not to call
What happens next
A founder answers it. There is no queue and no portal, which is also why there is no ticket number to chase. If you have not heard back, the same address reaches all of us.
If the account is already registered to another partner we tell you that, and we tell you before you have spent a week on the quote rather than after.
What a registration does, and what it does not
It holds the account. For the registration period we do not give the same position on the same account to a second partner, and we do not quote it ourselves.
Price protection is a separate thing. Where the vendor's own channel programme supports it, the registration carries the price as well as the account. Where it does not, you will hear that before you quote rather than after.
Not a partner yet?
Register the deal anyway and say so in the first line. The account is what we need to check first; the paperwork follows it.
